I live in Washington state in the Cascades , I have a group of canines about 30 to 40 typically. They are a Mastiff American Eskimo canis lupus breed I call Mastamo. My Alpha female mom just brought a mountain beaver in for a snack , pretty good-sized one, yesterday. Today I just noticed it’s near My Puppy Den where I have seven four week old pups. These pups belong to one of my other females. My Alpha normally guards her food, I wonder if she decided to bring this treat to my other females pups. Quite interesting, yes these dogs are domesticated but we do live on a mountain surrounded by Wilderness Off the Grid and the pups are raised quite organically LOL.
